Bullish Wilfried Nancy does not fear being fired but the Parkhead faithful unleash wrath after defeat.

Wilfried Nancy stated he had no concerns about the sack, claiming, “I believe we are extremely close to changing our fortunes,” in the wake of moving dangerously close to the exit with a comprehensive loss to their arch-rivals.

A Second-Half Collapse Leads to Derby Loss

Nancy’s Persistent Belief

“The level we had at times was really, really, really high. That happened. I wouldn't talk like that if it was not the case. But that’s why, in terms of results, I mentioned this is the same story. That’s why I believe a change is coming to things turning around. But for the moment: small things.”

“We produced plenty of positives that we did, like today again. However it’s about consistency. My message would not be the same. Therefore I am a big believer we will manage to get back on track.”

Röhl’s Cautious Stance

Danny Röhl refused to contemplate a serious challenge even after what seemed like a statement victory. “One match at a time, and we can develop something here,” he said. “The faith in the team is immense.”
