Iran Reports Attack on American Facility in Bahrain, During Regional Military Operations.

Iran's military claims to have hit a American military facility in Bahrain, as the country executed missile attacks throughout the Middle East in retaliation for a "massive" and ongoing assault targeting the nation by the US and Israel.

Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an zone close to the main base of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The full scale of any impact is not yet known and the American officials has yet to issue a statement.

Missile Defenses Activated

In other parts of the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar and Kuwait - which all house American military installations - stated they have intercepted incoming projectiles in their air space.

In the Qatari capital, the Qatari Ministry of Defence stated it had intercepted a number of projectiles apparently targeting the Al Udeid Air Base, the largest American base in the region.

IRGC Statement

Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement it was striking American facilities and interests as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in reprisal for the attack on the Islamic Republic carried out by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday.

That US-Israeli operation - executed at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far targeted locations linked to the Tehran's leadership, with President Trump urging the Iranian people to revolt against the government.

In Israel, sirens were heard across the country after the Israel Defense Forces said it had detected an incoming Iranian missile barrage.

The Ministry of Defence of the UAE stated that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".

"Emirati air defenses engaged the projectiles with high efficiency and destroyed a several projectiles," it added.

Officials reported wreckage landed in a neighborhood in Abu Dhabi, causing some material damage and killing a civilian.

The United States Air Force operates from the Al Dhafra base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
