Self-assured Fabio Wardley Tips the scales at Twenty Pounds Less Less Than Substantial Joseph Parker

Joseph Parker weighed approximately 20lb heavier compared to Fabio Wardley as each top fighters cut assured figures - even if in opposing ways - leading up to Saturday's feature bout in the capital.

New Zealand's Parker is risking his WBO 'interim' belt and chance to compete for the world title up for grabs against the undefeated Fabio Wardley at the London venue.

The East London market in London's east end witnessed beyond market goods on the scales as the two heavyweights squared up for the last occasion ahead of the bout.

Parker winked at the camera and bobbed along to the music.

As he flexed his muscles, he seemed hefty and strong as he registered at eighteen stone ten pounds, merely 5lb below than his peak weight.

It is a far cry from the sixteen stone twelve pound iteration who was defeated his world title to AJ in 2018.

"We are cautious, we are wary, but I'm going to match him blow for blow and I intend to connect with him," Parker said.

Wardley, dressed in an Ipswich Town jersey, maintained a focused look, acknowledged the audience, but seemed focused.

He may be the lighter guy, Fabio Wardley has exceptional stopping ability. He staged a remarkable turnaround versus Justis Huni in last June, down on the judges' cards before defeating his foe in the 10th round although being outboxed for much of the bout.
